Train Crash

Wisconsin (WFRV) A Southern Wisconsin driver narrowly avoided a horrific crash Saturday.

The man managed to escape just before his van was hit by a train in the Milwaukee area.

Police say the man was pulling a trailer and wasn't able to stop at the railroad crossing.

He tried to change direction, but ended up stuck on the tracks.

The impact of the train pushed the van a half-mile down the tracks.

The crash remains under investigation.
