(WFRV) Some scary moments for dozens of passengers on a flight from Ashwaubenon to Detroit Sunday afternoon.
Dozens of emergency personnel were called to Austin Straubel Airport for an air emergency.
Airport Director Tom Miller tells Local Five News a Delta Flight 5209 had departed at 4:45 Sunday night en-route to Detroit-- when smoke apparently filled the cabin.
Miller says the aircraft-- with 65 passengers and 4 crew members-- returned and landed safely at around 5:15.
Everyone disembarked the jet on the taxiway and were taken to terminal--- where there were checked out by health care professionals.
No one suffered any injuries.
