Minnapolis, MN. (WFRV) - Governor Scott Walker spoke out Sunday about Friday's collective bargaining ruling.
A judge had found significant portions of Act 10 unconstitutional according to both the state and national constitution, re-igniting the collective bargaining debate.
Walker says he's confident the ruling will be overturned.
"If this had never been litigated before, there might be a greater concern but we had a similar issue, it's not the same issue but a similar issue," Walker said, "a circuit court judge in Dane County ruled one way and ultimately when it was taken to the supreme court, they ruled a different way."
The attorney general's office will be appealing the decision ---and is seeking a stay of the ruling pending that appeal.
