Thomas Wick: Searching for a Murderer

HOWARD, Wisc. (WFRV) The family of Thomas Wick is pleading for the public's help.
"I just beg that somebody comes forward and just gives us the piece of the puzzle that we need," says Leanne Wick, Tom's sister-in-law.
It's been nearly 7 months since Tom was found brutally murdered in the basement of his Howard home. While no one has ever been charged in the case, investigators do have persons of interest.
The family, fearful for their own safety and the safety of the community, wants the person responsible to be brought to justice.
"This person is out there and they could do that to you. They could do that to your child, to your next door neighbor. If they would do it once, I believe they would do it again."
A website, www.WickMurder.com, has been set up to make the public aware of Tom's death. It's just another tool to help solve the case.
"We need that arrest. We need that conviction and that will be, I guess, a really good day in our lives. I hate to say I'm going to be happy for a day like that. I never expected to ever think about something like this, but I guess that's what we need."
A $10,000 reward, set up through the family, will expire on October 15th. They're hoping, despite the reward, someone will just do the right thing and come forward with information.
Leanne says she will not rest until justice is served.
"We need to find who did this and do justice for Tom because he does not deserve to not have this person arrested and convicted."

A bench will be dedicated in Tom's memory at Hidden Creek Park in Howard on September 29th at 3pm. There will be a balloon release after the dedication.
