Prayer vigil held in Manitowoc County for undocumented immigrants

MANITOWOC, Wis (WFRV) - Following recent immigration raids in Northeast Wisconsin, the Hispanic community in Manitowoc is crying out to local authorities to ease up on enforcement.
One man, several women and children gathered outside the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department for a prayer vigil. They blame Sheriff Robert Hermann for some of the 30 undocumented immigrants that were arrested and deported within the last few weeks.
Despite blame being directed at the sheriff, Hermann says his office doesn't make any extra effort to turn them over to ICE unless its serious.
