Shawano County Emergency Management Director resigns after arrest

Shawano, Wis.(WFRV)-- Shawano County Emergency Management Director Steven Haskell has resigned after he was arrested on a charge of possession of child pornography.
Shawano County Human Resources Coordinator Judy Rank confirmed to Local Five News that Haskell had resigned after his arrest on the child pornography charge.
The 50 year old Shawano County Emergency Management Director was arrested Sunday night amid allegations that he had improperly used county equipment.
The Shawano County Sheriff's Department sent a news release stating that they had started an investigation Friday when it was learned that an employee was accused of "utilizing county issued equipment in a manner inconsistent with county policy."
Haskell has worked for Shawano County since 2005.
