Brown County sees rise in homeless students

Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)--The number of homeless students in Brown County is rising fast, and community resources are having a hard time keeping up with the needs.
Families with children are the fastest growing homeless population.
It's become a huge problem in Brown County, with some families having no where to go.
Just in the past eight years, the number of homeless students in Brown County has nearly doubled.
It's gone from 629 in 2004, to more than 1,200 today.
Freedom House Ministries is the only place in Brown County to welcome homeless families.
They can only serve 12 families at a time, and there are currently 72 homless families waiting to get in the shelter.
