Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Shawano County

GREEN VALLEY, Wis. (WFRV) A Gillett man is dead following a motorcycle accident in Shawano County.

Officials tell Local 5, around 7:00 pm Saturday night they responded to a crash on County Highway E in the town of Green Valley. They found 48-year-old Scott Courchaine of Gillett lying in the ditch.

Authorities say the man was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. Police believe alcohol may be a factor.
