Howard, Wis. (WVRV) - The family of an area murder victim is honoring his memory, and asking for the public's help in finding his killer..
43-year-old Tom Wick was found murdered in his Howard home this past February.
No arrests have been made in connection with his death.
Sunday, Wick's family and friends dedicated a bench at Wayne Williams Conservation Area in Hidden Creek.
Tom loved to go to the park with his two children.
His family says they know the Brown County Sheriff's Department is working hard to close the case, but the not knowing what happened has been very difficult for the family.
"If it was a traffic accident at least you know what happened," Tom's brother Brian says, "but with this... Tom was the nicest guy that you'd ever want to meet. He was a master electrician, father of two wonderful children, he was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back, we just can't figure out who would do this so...so it's been very hard."
At today's dedication, the family also released balloons into the sky a touching way to say farewell.
"The balloons is just letting Tom go. It's hard to do. Everyone just decided the balloon thing was a very nice way to say goodbye, to celebrate his life. It's been hard but we're finding some closure with this."
The Wick family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
The reward expires October 15th so if you have any information the family is asking you to come forward.
If you know anything about this case, you are asked to call the Brown County Sheriff's Department.
They've also set up a website to celebrate tom's life and to generate tips.
