Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - Howe Elementary School in Green Bay is celebrated 100 years of serving the community Saturday.
Howe is one of the first elementary schools in the Green Bay Area Public School District.
A 100-year-milestone open house was held in honor of Howe's centennial.
"It's in great condition," principal DeAnn Lehman says. "Looking at the history and the architecture that's there and also just honoring the part of the neighborhood and honoring and welcoming the new that has come to the neighborhood while still showing that we respect and honor what's come before us."
