GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Cheeseheads had a chance to get their annual flu shot before Sunday's game against the Saints. The Packers teamed with Bellin Health to offer flu shots through the Titletown Wellness Program.
The shots were available to anyone, not just fans with tickets. The event was one of several the Packers and Bellin Health are putting on around the area.
"It's been a little surprising," Chris Woleske, Executive Vice President of Bellin Health said. "People say 'flu shots at the Packers game, really?' But then they're like 'well yeah, let's do it. It's really convenient. Let's take care of it now.' So it's really been very positive."
If you still need to get your shot, they will be available from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Bond Community Center on the Bellin Health Hospital and Clinic campus in Oconto. The shots are $15 and a Packers player wil be around to visit flu shot recipients.
