Kimberly, Wis. (WFRV) - High school students in Kimberly got a first-hand look at some of the consequences of drinking and driving on Wednesday.
Not only is it a unique learning experience for students, it also serves as a training opportunity for first responders, as you can see Theda Star was used during the demonstration.
Its part of the "Every 15 Minutes Program" which shows what actually happens in the event of a drunken driving fatality and how it affects people's lives.
"If this has only changed the mind of one person today, even if we've only impacted on person doesn't drink or drive, somebody will be thankful for that" Police Liason Mark Wery says.
Thursday, an all-school assembly will be held and students will watch a film depicting the arrest and court process following a drunk driving fatality.
