President Barack Obama is set to speak on Bascom Hill in the afternoon.
Today was definitely not a normal day on campus.
Classes were cancelled at Bascom Hall to get ready for the visit.
Vice Chancellor for University Relations at UW-Madison, Vince Sweeney, "To be honest with you, for folks involved in work or study in those buildings, it's a major disruption. That's the downside, but we think there's enough of an upside that we decided to move forward with it."
Local Five will have a crew at UW-Madison tomorrow and bring you complete coverage starting at four pm on Thursday.
