Fatal crash in Shawano County

Green Valley, Wis. (WFRV) - The Shawano County Sheriff's Department says a person is dead after a crash in the town of Green Valley, east of Cecil.

It happened Thursday afternoon just after 1:30 in the afternoon on County Road BB at the intersection of County Road.

Deputies say an SUV driving south on BB collided with a minivan that was driving east on County E. 

A passenger in the minivan was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The two drivers and another passenger in the minivan were all sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Deputies say he crash is still under investigation, but alcohol was not involved.

The name of the deceased  has not been released.
