Metjet prepares for first flight out of Green Bay

Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - Metjet takes off this Sunday with it's first flight to Florida from Austin Straubel International Airport.
They fly to Orlando and next Wednesday Metjet makes it's first flight from Green Bay to Fort Meyers.
Friday, airline executives from the De Pere based company gathered for a ribbon cutting.
They talked about how the non-stop service will impact Brown County.
"When people buy tickets on MetJet, they are truly supporting a local company and the local economy," the CEO of MetJet Mike Heisman says. "Every passenger that we bring through Green Bay's Airport generates four dollars and fifty cents for the county and the airport to expand."
Right now, Metjet is offering a fall special of buy one ticket get two free.
