A Green Bay school has channeled the community's inner "Woodstock" memories.
Second graders at Chappell Elementary school invited the community this afternoon to the school to celebrate with the students at their outdoor music festival - dubbed "Chappellstock".
It's purpose: to teach students how music can bring peace around the world.
The idea came about through an international baccalaureate unit learning about peace and conflict resolution.
Chappell Elementary Principal Kris Worden, "The teachers and students were just exploring 'what does peace mean?' and 'what does conflict look like?' and "how can we be responsible as students and community members to bring peace around the world?'"
And as you can see, some students and teachers were even dressed in 1960s attire, and lawn chairs were set up for the outdoor concert.
