Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) -- Friday night included a full slate of high school football games. But one of them featured two of Wisconsin's oldest rivals.
Under the Friday night lights, Green Bay East and Green Bay West met for the 107th time. Dale Legois has been attending the annual battle since at least 1959.
"Green Bay has always been a strong football town. Always that rivalry between East and West, and it continues to be a strong one," Legois said.
Meanwhile another fan, Jim Belongia is torn. He is a teacher from Green Bay East, but is a Green Bay West graduate.
"You don't cheer for brick and mortor, you cheer for the people you know. I know the East kids from class, but I'm a West guy too because I graduated in 1979, so whatever happens I guess I win," Belongia said.
Green Bay East and Green Bay West both met first back in 1895.
