Neenah (WFRV) Hundreds of folks put their best foot forward to celebrate some very important people in our area.

More than 14-hundred people took part in the 3rd Annual Fox Cities Down Syndrome Awareness Walk at Riverside Park Saturday.

There was plenty of clowning around and fun to be had.

Walk ambassador--- Lindsay Neubauer is currently going to college.  Lindsay was one of the recipients of a Down Syndrome Association scholarship .

The proceeds raised help pay for the scholarships and other services for those with Down Syndrome and their families.

Local 5 is a proud sponsor of this event.
