Thompson endorsed by NRA

Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - Former governor Tommy Thompson has gained a big endorsement..
Sunday in Green Bay, Thompson announced he has gained the support of the National Rifle Association.
The NRA says it's given Thompson a lifetime "Grade A" rating because of his support for gun owner's rights.
In response to the endorsement, Thompson's Democratic opponent Tammy Baldwin's campaign released a statement saying "Tammy is a gun owner herself, supports the 2nd amendment and is proud to have strong support from Wisconsin sportsmen across the state."
