Appleton, Wis.(WFRV)--Today, local veterans in northeast Wisconsin received a visit from Vice President Joe Biden's son, Beau Biden.
    The Iraq war veterans met with veterans and their families in Appleton and Manitowoc.
    Beau Biden also serves as Attorney General for Delaware and used today to campaign for his father's return to the White House as President Barack Obama's running mate.
    Beau Biden, Delaware Attorney General, "My father tells people exactly what he thinks on any given issue."
    This Thursday, Vice President Joe Biden will face off against GOP VP nominee Paul Ryan in the vice presidential debate in Danville, Kentucky.
    Local Five's Tom Zalaski will be there and have coverage on Local Five News at 4, 5, 6 & 10 pm.
