Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)-- The Green Bay Packers are taking time to help improve the Green Bay area.
More than 50 Packers employees took part in the Second Annual Green Bay Packers Community Day.
Employees worked at John Muir Park to install two playgrounds.
They also delivered more than 150 fleece blankets to local nursing homes.
Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy talked to Local Five at the park. Murphy told us, "It's been great. We're getting a little wet, but as everyone has said, you know we play in the rain, so we have to build in the rain."
All the equipment and materials were donated by the Packers.
