Packers: All is Not Lost

By: Leslie Spoon
Updated: October 9, 2012

The Packers are just as bewildered by their last loss as green and gold faithful are.

"I know our fans are frustrated and aggravated", Jeff Saturday said. "We understand that, but we put our time and energy into this thing and so we're obviously all disappointed in the turnout and frustrated with what's going on,but we're the guys who have to correct it and we gotta go back and fix it and be a better football team that we were on Sunday."

Just how do the players go back and fix it? Saturday's fellow lineman, Josh Sitton says it goes back to the fundamentals. "For offensive lineman just simple things pad level, hand placement, things like that, a lot of times its small things like that that mess you up. Catching the ball with your hands, always looking it down, stupid things we learn when you're young, just gotta get back to doing all those things right."

Green Bay is confident they can fix those little things and get back on track. With more than two-thirds of the season left to play, Fullback John Kuhn says the Packers' goals haven't changed. "We're just trying to draw back from the experiences we've had in the past, we struggled a little bit the Super Bowl year. We're trying to make connections to that and then back to this season and just realize this is still the team we went in with Super Bowl aspirations this year, we still believe in our goal, we still believe that we can achieve that and we just need to go out there and prove it on the field."
