Proposed power line project by American Transmission Company

Brown County, WI (WFRV) Local residents are learning more about a proposed power line project by American Transmission Company. It would impact areas from Green Bay to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

 

One line would extend from Green Bay to the Oconto Falls area. Another would run from near Oconto Falls to just south of Iron Mountain and a third line would be set up off to the west -- running from Holmes to Escanaba, Michigan.

 

Tuesday hundreds of people who may be impacted by the project gathered in Ashwaubenon. They attended an open house to learn more about what's called -  the "Bay Lake Project".
