Appleton Mayor endorses Ribble

Appleton, Wis. (WFRV) - Wednesday, Congressman Reid Ribble earned a local endorsement.
Appleton Mayor Tim Hanna is backing Ribble for another two year term in the 8th congressional district.
Hanna and Ribble appeared at Appleton papers, where Hanna applauded Ribble for rolling up his sleeves and working hard for the citizens of Appleton and northeast Wisconsin.
"Endorsements by mayors are important to the campaign and the reason is all politics are local and the mayors position is nonpartisan and having that endorsement is more meaningful then having a partisan endorsement from someone like Scott Walker," Ribble says.
Ribble, a Republican, faces Democratic challenger Jamie Wall on November 6th to represent the 8th Congressional District.
