Oskhosh, Wis. (WFRV) - A billionaire investor is making an unsolicited bid for the Oshkosh Corporation.
According to the Oshkosh Northwestern, Carl Icahn's offer of $32.50 per share is a 21 percent premium over the company stock's closing price, and values the company at three billion dollars.
Last year, Icahn unsuccessfully sought seats on the company's board.
He holds ten percent of the company's stock, and wants the company to take a more active approach in growing the truck maker.
