Rosendale, Wis.(WFRV)-- A shed fire at a Rosendale dairy farm in Fond du Lac county has not stopped milk production.
About $200,000 dollars worth of feed was damaged after a tractor caught fire in a shed.
Workers were unable to put it out. None of the employees or the 9,000 cows on the farm were hurt.
Milk Source spokesman Bill Harke, " We have a director of safety and training and every employee has to go through the training before they start. This was a perfect example of things working the way they should. The guys know if a fire breaks out, they are supposed to try to put it out with a fire extinguisher, and if that doesn't work, get out of there and call 9-1-1."
Local Five's Donald Robinson has this report.
