NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) Alta Resources plans on hiring 400 new employees by the end of next year and they're still looking to fill about 100 at the end of this year.  The announcement was made Thursday at the company's headquarters in downtown Neenah.

The new positions are mostly entry level.  Alta is aggressively targeting recent college graduates.  We asked about the salary range.  We were told only that they are competitive with other entry level jobs.

Workers process credit card transactions, answer phone calls and handle emails for Fortune 500 companies.  So far this year Alta has filled 570 new positions.

Governor Scott Walker was on hand for the announcement.  He said the state has been working with Alta since April through tax credits to make this round of hiring possible.
