Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)-- Macarthur Elementary School in Green Bay takes pride in it's large Native American student population.
Macarthur offers an after-school Oneida language class for students and encourages them to use the language during class.
Today, the school took its Native American pride to another level. Veterans from the Oneida Community raised the Oneida flag for the first time outside the school.
After the flag-raising ceremony, the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary released a bald eagle to close the celebration.
