Fond du Lac Police arrest 8 in drug sweep

Fond du Lac, Wis. (WFRV) - The Fond du La City Police Department continues it's crack down on drug dealers.  

Officers say they arrested 8 people during an operation Wednesday morning. Another 6 are still on the run.

Officers say most of the arrest warrants were served in the City of Fond du Lac, while one was in North Fond du Lac and another was in Fond du Lac County.

The drugs involved in the latest operation include crack cocaine, narcotics, opiate medications, and marijuana. 

The department says it's arrested more than 84 drug dealers in Fond du Lac in the past 10 months.  This is the department's 4th major drug sweep in the past 3 months.
