GREENVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) Fox Valley Technical College is breaking ground on a new facility they say will make them a leader of public safety training.
The $30 million Public Safety Training Center at the Outagamie County Regional Airport will bring together police, fire fighters and EMS professionals under one roof. It will train students and aid in hundreds of seminars for local law enforcement agencies.
"They'll have technology that we'll be able to utilize. Lots of shared aspects for a smaller department to have access to this training. There's nothing better than a good education," says Hortonville Police Chief Michael Sullivan.
Classes at the Public Safety Training Center will tentatively start in January of 2015.
