Shelter Opening to Record Number of Homeless

GREEN BAY, Wisc. (WFRV) A record number of people are expected to fill the beds at a local homeless shelter this season.

Volunteers at St. John's the Evangelist Homeless Shelter have been busy preparing for an influx of people in need.

The shelter has already received approval from the Green Bay City Council to increase their bed capacity.

Local 5's Wendy Fleury toured the facility and spoke with the director of the shelter about the upcoming season.
