DARBOY, Wisc. (WFRV) A public welcome home party is planned for Charlie Knuth.

The six year old will make his way back to his home in Darboy tomorrow after a long struggle at the University of Minnesota Hospital. He's expected to arrive in town around noon.

The Darboy Corner Store, located at N9690 County Highway N, will be hosting the party, which will also serve as a fundraiser for Charlie. The event runs from 10am to 2pm. There will be lots of raffle items, including an autographed Clay Matthews jersey.

Patti Rodencal, the store owner, says the public is encouraged to come down to the store and show their support for Charlie and the Knuth family.

"They will be here but he will not be able to get out of the car so they're just going to drive through the parking lot. People can hold their signs up, they can wave and cheer for him and let Charlie know that we're all behind him and support him."

All money raised from the event will go directly to Charlie.
