DARBOY, Wis. (WFRV) After spending four months in Minnesota getting special treatment of a rare skin disease, Charlie Knuth is back home.
Charlie received a great welcome during a fundraiser at the Darboy Corner Store today. He was only able to make a brief appearance at the event, waving to people from his parent's car. Even so, his friends say he looks happy and healthy.
"It was awesome, he looks really good and his skin was good, and [his mother] Trisha was so happy to be home with her family, it was very nice," said organizer and family friend Patti Rodencal. She is also the owner of the Darboy Corner Store.
There were also several items up for raffle including a Clay Matthews jersey. All the money raised in today's fundraiser will go towards the Knuth family.
