Fans happy to see Packers back home

By: Bret Lemoine
Updated: October 28, 2012

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) Fans were pretty excited to return to tailgating at Lambeau Field.  This is the first home game in nearly a month.

We caught up with folks who came to 1265 from all across the state.  Some even showed up in costume in honor of Halloween.  But most were just excited to cheer for the Green and Gold on their home turf.

"We're ready to see them - live action," one fan told us.  "Back home and I think the crowd is into it today.  Should be a good game," super-fan David Miller said.  He was dressed as Superman.

"If you remember the Super Bowl, we were hurting then and we ended up alright," another opined as he reflected on the season so far.

The Packers will be back home again next week before heading out on the road again on the 18th.
