Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - People also got into the holiday spirit at Lambeau Field Thursday afternoon.
The atrium was filled with all the traditional Thanksgiving food including turkey, cranberries, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pie, and a festive spirit.
Organizers say the meal offers benefits for everybody involved.
"It is important there is a need out there," Jessica Zeitler of Christian Outreach says, "not only for the people who aren't able to have a thanksgiving meal with their familiy but also for all the volunteers, we definitely get a lot out of coming here today, and seeing everybody's faces and having conversations with people that are here."
The annual Thanksgiving meal was put on by Christian Outreach who's made it a tradition to serve hundreds in the area.
