FOND DU LAC, Wisc. (WFRV) Numerous suspected drug dealers were arrested in a major operation in Fond du Lac.

The operation was launched yesterday, Dec. 5th, around 10:30am. A task force of about 27 officers were deployed in teams to locate and arrest 18 people with felony arrest warrants. Those individuals were suspected of drug trafficking in the Fond du Lac area. The illegal drugs included heroin, crack cocaine, narcotic/Opiate medications and marijuana.

"During today's operation at least four of the subjects that we arrested for drug trafficking offenses were also arrested in the recent drug operations that we conducted. Unfortunately, some of them have been continuing to traffic in illegal drugs while out on bail for previous drug trafficking arrests, so we'll also be requesting that they be charged with bail jumping," City of Fond du Lac Police Chief Bill Lamb stated.

Search warrants were served at two homes in the city. One of the homes, 529 Farwell Ave., had already been searched in July and September. In the July search, 156 grams of marijuana along with packaging material and paraphernalia were seized. In the September search, another 38.7 grams of marijuana long with packaging material and paraphernalia were taken.

The police say it's frustrating dealing with the same drug dealers time and time again.

"The police department's message to the good people in that neighborhood is that we will continue to aggressively investigate and arrest those individuals who are involved in dealing illegal drugs in our community," said Chief Lamb.

The police are still searching for 6 individuals in reference to yesterday's operation. They are:

Laman T. Stigler, male black, DOB 7/28/88, last known address: 331 W. Division St. Fond du Lac

Jacquelyn J. Rooney, female white, DOB 1/27/71, last known address: N8861 Mallard Lane, Fond du Lac

Kimberly D. Raabe, female white, DOB 4/23/73, last known address: 100 E. Merrill Ave. #1, Fond du Lac

Michael R. Murphy, male white, DOB 1/12/60, last known address: 100 E. Merrill Ave. #1, Fond du Lac

Christina L. Stein, female white, DOB 3/17/85, last known address 229 W. South Park, Oshkosh

Sara A. Schmitz, female white, DOB 7/27/81, last known address N7681 Columbia Dr., Fond du Lac

If you know their whereabouts, call the Fond du Lac PD at 920-906-5555.

This is the fifth major round of drug arrests to occur in the city since August. Since the Fond du Lac PD began their high intensity drug enforcement initiative a year ago, they've arrested over 100 people responsible for illegal drug trafficking in the city.
