NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) With changes coming to the U.S. Postal Service, many are looking at their options for alternative Saturday service. Managers at the only UPS Store in the Valley tell us they're more than willing to pick up disenfranchised U.S. postal customers. The Neenah location is open on Saturdays until 3 PM. You can send packages there on Saturdays, and UPS will still deliver on the weekends at a premium.
FedEx Office in Appleton is even open on Sundays.
Managers at these businesses say they offer lots of services the post office doesn't. "The post office doesn't offer a packaging service. You bring in grandma's china and we're going to be able to package that up and get it shipped out. And it will arrive in one piece," says UPS Store Manager Bobbi Stern.
Workers tell us private P.O. boxes are also gaining in popularity inside places like the UPS Store.
