Green Bay (WFRV)    Members of the Oneida Nation Tribe and other Tribes from around the US gathered in Green Bay today to heighten awareness of issues important to their way of life.

The native American Church of Oneida hosted the event called "Idle no more" in the parking lot of Walmart west.

Participants sang and danced to Native American songs to shed light on issues ranging from treaty rights, human rights, and environmental issues---- like the current mining bill being proposed in Madison.

After the gathering - participants took part in a spiritual gathering in Oneida with prayer meetings.
