NWTC hosts annual art show

The annual one-day art exhibition featured student, amateur, and professional artists showcasing their work. Art walkers got to enjoy over 150 pieces of art including sculpture, digital media, textiles, and painting.
Organizers say the event also helps he school show it's more than just a technical college. "We really want people to think of art and NWTC in the same real," said academic advisor Kelly Casperson. "We want people to know we have classes, we have training, and we are able to help artists grow their businesses and become successful entrepreneurs."
Visitors also got to shop at the artisan marketplace for locally made goods, listen to live music, and also enjoy culinary demonstrations.
