SHEBOYGAN, Wis (WFRV) Former Sheboygan Mayor Bob Ryan was in court to be sentenced this afternoon. Ryan has to pay $700 worth of fines and court costs after being found guilty of two counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
This is in connection with an incident back in the summer of 2011.
Ryan was accused of grabbing a woman's breasts at a bar.
As part of a plea deal, charges of fourth degree sexual assault were reduced.
"I was loud, I was intoxicated, I was boisterous, I was probably abnoxious, but I did not do anything illegal," says Ryan.
"I've never seen such arrogance, I've never seen such denial, he needs to get over this and over himself if he is going to be a good member of society," says District Attorney Joe DeCecco.
Ryan lost a recall election last year.
