Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)--Even though there's a lot of snow still on the ground, it's time to start thinking about May.
The Cellcom Green Bay marathon takes place May 19th and if you're planning on running in it, you need to be trainiing right now.
While many of you are enjoying that extra sleep on Saturday mornings, a couple of hundred marathoners and half-marathoners are getting race-day ready in the Prevea Training Runs.
The free runs have a training course already mapped out for you, complete with water stations every couple of miles.
Over the next couple of months, Local 5 will be doing weekly running stories to help you get in the best shape possible.
This weekend, the training runs will begin at West De Pere High School.
Although they're free, donations are accepted.
