Girls Basketball: Oconto defeats Amherst in OT to advance to sectional finals

Laken James had a double-double as Oconto built a big halftime lead before pulling out a sectional semifinal win over Amherst in overtime, 60-55, Wednesday night.

James finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Devils (21-4) who now will face either Algoma or Lourdes Academy on Saturday in Waupaca for the right to advance to the state tournament at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
