Man identified in Shiocton drowning

SHIOCTON, Wis. (WFRV) -- The 22-year-old man who drowned on July 12 has been identified by authorities.

The man, 22-year-old Gilmar Waldemar Gonzales-Vasquez, was pulled from a man-made lake in Shioction at around 6:30 p.m., July 12.

Authorities say Gonzales-Vasquez was swimming at Lake Park in Shioction when he started to have difficulties.

An autopsy had been performed, and authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
