Terrific Teacher helps kids eat healthy by growing their own food

By:
Updated: November 29, -0001
This month's Terrific Teacher focuses on kids and health as one teacher shows the importance and fun of healthy eating by growing your own foods. Mr. De Jardins is a teacher at Webster Elementary in Green Bay who took a 10-thousand dollar grant and turned it into something delicious. De Jardins grew veggies with students, then worked through healthy cooking and eating habits with the kids. Hilary Golston has the full story.
