Rodgers sat out last week's loss to the Patriots after suffering his second concussion of the season in a Week 14 game against the Lions. It was the first game the quarterback missed since taking the reins from Brett Favre at the beginning of the 2008 season.
Matt Flynn, in his first NFL start, had the Packers driving for the game- winning touchdown in New England last Sunday, but the comeback fell just short in a 31-27 decision.
The loss dropped Green Bay to 8-6 on the year, one game behind the Giants for the second NFC wild card spot with two to play.
Through the first 13 games, Rodgers ranked fourth in the NFL in quarterback rating (98.5), throwing for 3,289 yards with 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Rodgers will be wearing a different helmet than he had earlier in the season while suffering the concussions.
