West, Hornets edge Bucks in season opener

Marco Belinelli, who spent last season with the Raptors, added 18 points and six boards for the Hornets, who let go of Jeff Bower following a 37-45 2009-10 season. New Orleans went on to hire former Portland assistant Williams, who became the NBA's youngest head coach.
Chris Paul had 17 points and 16 assists for New Orleans, which made former San Antonio director of player personnel Dell Demps its new GM. Trevor Ariza finished with 11 points in his Hornets debut.
Carlos Delfino tallied 19 points and five rebounds for the Bucks, who lost to Hawks in the first round of the playoffs last year. Corey Maggette added 16 points off the bench for Milwaukee, which got 15 points apiece from Andrew Bogut, Brandon Jennings, and Drew Gooden.
