GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) -- A 31-year-old man drowned in the Bay of Green Bay while duck hunting yesterday.
At about 6:00 a.m. on Nov. 4th, the 31-year-old man, accompanied by his hunting partner, launched his boat from the Green Bay Metro Boat Launch located at the mouth of the Fox River with the intent of going duck hunting.
The man launched his boat and agreed to meet his hunting partner at the Eagles Nest boat landing.
The partner arrived at the Eagles Nest and waited for the 31-year-old man to arrive. When he did not show, the hunting partner contacted authorities and a search of the bay ensued.
At around 12:27 p.m. the body of the 31-year-old hunter was found off shore.
The Brown County Medical Examiners were notified and responded to the scene. Foul play was not suspected in the drowning.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time.
