It was debate night for incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold and political newcomer Ron Johnson. Political watchers say Feingold needed a strong showing to help him close the gap with the Republican businessman in the Senate Race.
The candidates disagree on issues across the board.
"From my standpoint, all options are on the table. I would never mandate privatization. I would never mandate private account," said Johnson.
"I am committed to stop any form of privatization. Specifically I would raise the FICA level to 106,000, so fund is solvent in the future," said Feingold.
From health care reform, to global warming. They both said they've fielded questions from concerned voters about the future of social security.
Be sure to watch the Feingold-Johnson debate tomorrow on Channel 5. We will broadcast it at noon.
