Women's roller derby has seen a resurgence in the past decade. That has one local video game company making a game about the sport. Ben Geisler is the president of Frozen Codebase, a game developer in Green Bay. Three years ago, a trip to Milwaukee led his team to a roller derby game, which led to a an idea. The game was designed with feedback from some local roller derby teams. Delona Reed, founder of the Fox Cityz Foxz, is one of many woman who were a part of the creation of Jam City Rollergirls -which includes the voices and physiques of actual players in roller derby leagues. The game is for the Nintendo Wii, down-loadable from your living room. It's targeted for men and women of all ages. Kirk Parker has the story.
