Discovery Health follows local family's medical treatment

VAN DYNE (WFRV) - A Fond du Lac County family will be featured on Discovery Health, because of their son's battle with tourette syndrome.
Jonah Hinds, 11 years old, was diagnosed with tourette syndrome in second grade.
Tourette syndrome is a mysterious often misunderstudood neurological disorder. It causes motor and vocal ticks.
Discovery Health documented Jonah's surgery this summer. Electrodes implanted in the brain help quiet the symptoms.
Jonah's story will air Monday, September 13 on Discovery Health.
